Ilana is a Manager in the Privacy and Data Protection practice within Deloitte Risk Advisory. Ilana helps clients across industry sectors understand and respond to Australian and global privacy and data protection regulations, emerging trends and laws, standards, and best practices. Prior to joining Deloitte, Ilana worked in the Privacy team of the Office of the Commissioner for Privacy and Data Protection (now the Office of the Victorian Information Commissioner). Ilana regularly writes, presents, and educates in the areas of privacy and data protection, human rights and values, and their intersection with evolving technology and the digital economy.
Ilana holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Juris Doctor from the University of Melbourne.
